VALPIPACK
The main objective of the VALPIPACK project is, based on a laboratory prototype, to valorize pineapple waste by extracting antioxidant compounds and to advance in the experimental development on a pilot scale in a semi-industrial environment of a flexible film-type antioxidant active packaging that will increase the shelf life of packaged fresh veal by 15%. It will also be applied to extend the shelf life of sliced cured ham and other meat products.
