MarineroB’s goal is to develop autonomous underwater and surface vehicles to perform long-term operations in the ocean, analyze oceanographic parameters, presence of invasive species, pollution control and maritime traffic, with real-time communication. MarineroB knows the problem of monitoring physico-chemical parameters of the oceans, impossible to be performed by satellite observation, only capable of observing the surface layer of the ocean. The proposed vehicles remain in the environment for a long time and have a real-time connection to land, capable of staying for long periods of time at selected locations and moving to new locations while being controlled from land.
